James Loo is the Founder and Managing Director of Triple Peak Capital. He is passionate and focused on healthcare where he has witnessed how business can be used to create superior patient outcomes. Notable health and business accomplishments include: Credited with directly saving 140 lives leading the industry’s first successful MM cancer cure immunotherapeutic clinical trial, appointment as the overall portfolio lead for J&J’s controlled substance task force overseeing 3000+ global employees and $1B+ product line, facilitating the M&A strategy and transaction for the $74B Celgene acquisition by BMS which remains the largest healthcare transaction in history, and directing the growth of his family biotech business from OEM to operations into 40+ countries and IPO journey.

His diverse background also includes private equity at Blackstone, management consulting as a founding member of Deloitte Consulting’s Next Gen Therapies Strategy practice, executive management at every level of his family biotech business, and prior to his business career service to the country on the Counter-ISIL Task Force with several US Intelligence agencies.

James’ education includes the Columbia Business School where he served as academic chair during his MBA and Harvard where he led award winning research in the fields of health innovation. James is active within the community, with service on the steering committee of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, LunaCap Veterans Foundation, Ascend Leadership Foundation, and the Columbia and Harvard University Powerlifting teams.
